The members of this research group will focus on the potential and opportunities of eco-tourism and the problems faced by various stakeholders, i.e., tourists, tour operators, tourist’s guides etc. The group will also focus on the role of various government and non-government organizations in promotion of eco-tourism.  The research areas may include ecological, environmental and social aspects of tourism, biodiversity as well as local culture and history of the tourism. The research group will also focus the challenges related to eco-tourism, preservation of wildlife, sustainable resources management as well as socio-economic issues of the local community in promoting eco-tourism.
