Computer and Networks Research Group at the department of Electrical Engineering was formed in 2012 and is involved in studies related to communication networks, optical networks with primary focus on Optical Burst Switched Networks and Optical Interconnects for Data Center Networks, network security, Wireless sensor networks, Applied Data Mining and Machine Learning, security and network models for the smart grid communications.
