The main focal area of this research group is High voltage and Power system. In high voltage Engineering research involve testing of various dielectric materials (solid, liquid and gas). In addition to that research is being carried out to use high voltage pulse is in different chemical reactions, water treatment and as a catalyst.  In power system main focal area is load flow, distributed generation, renewable energy and their integration with existing system, electrical transient and D.C transmission which involve power electronics, electrical machine and drives.
