The members of this group will focus on the broader area of peace, conflicts and gender. The major research areas of this group will include the various levels, dimensions and aspects of conflicts, the mechanisms adopted for their resolution, the analysis of conflicts, and conflict management with the collaboration of various actors of the society who are directly or indirectly involved and/or affected by such conflicts. The gender aspects will also be focus of the research on how the gender issue may or may not be related to such conflicts and their role towards peace initiatives.
