  • Assistant Professor at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad
  • Presently working as Lecturer at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Abbottabad. Major engineering skills developed during educational & professional career are as under:
  • Thorough knowledge of Power Systems Operation & Design;
  • In depth Knowledge of Electrical Machines and their working;
  • Conceptual knowledge Electrical Power generation;
  • Practical knowledge of Electrical Instruments & Measurements;
  • In depth knowledge of Power System Control & Analysis 1 & 2;
  • Thorough knowledge of Electronic Devices and Circuit analysis;
  • Thorough knowledge of Convertor Analysis modeling & Design;
  • In depth knowledge of Power System Modeling in MATLAB/Simulink;
  • Simulating & Analyzing Power System Problems; and
  • Capability of facing and solving research issues in most sophisticated way.

Responsibilities: Conducted Power and Energy Symposium in the campus under IEEE umbrella. Supervised various research oriented projects of Bachelors Students including Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Power Engineering. Conducted Lab Works, such as Circuit Analysis Design Lab, Electronic Components, Interface Lab, and Machines Lab. Been an active member of various organizing committee, such as EMCOT project display, and folder completion.

  • Have served on an administrative post as Assistant Departmental Operating Officer (ADOO) of Power Engineering section. After PhD studies, developed a research collaboration among various groups, national and international level. Moreover, with collaboration, delivered various professional grooming workshops
  • Remained an electric consultant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zone Management.
  • Assigned as the reviewer head of smart grid and electronics FIT conference Dec 2016, Islamabad.

Accomplishments

  • I have published 10 journals and 9 conferences during my stay at NDSU. 
  • Approximately 6 years of teaching experience in various courses at COMSATS University, Pakistan.
  • Supervised 12 undergraduate students at COMSATS and four projects listed in Graduate Research Projects .
  • Received honorarium from the Director (COMSATS) in July 2010 for the best outstanding performance in academia as well as research.
  • Awarded double increment from Director CIIT in July 2011 for best research performance in EE department.
  • Rewarded a fully-funded PhD Scholarship by COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan for year 2012-2015.
